New Year - new beginnings
Happy New Year to everyone and I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I had a busy, lovely Christmas surrounded by all my family and friends, DD2 came home with her family and it was great if a little noisey, they stopped here with me, but as I was working for part of the time we didnt get under each others feet!!
Well my New Year starts with the usual resolve, no resolutions, get to grip with the little debt I have and try to lose some weight, same old, same old .........
I have made a start already and made weekly meal plans, Im trying to use up food that I already have in and only spent 99p so far this year on food, I am also giving all the surplus chocolate away (and theres loads of it)which is proving easier said than done!! it seems everyone has the same idea about cutting back - I wonder why!!!!
Some lovely news is that my DD3 and her husband are expecting their first child at the end of April, Im so happy for them, but as they dont want to know the sex anything I make will have to neutral colours, Im going to start looking at patterns in the next few days, as I have to work all over the weekend., but when I get started I will be putting a few photos on - I do enjoy knitting baby things
Things I want to do in 2013
* get to grips with the garden
* start growing fruit bushes
* start sewing when I have sorted a space out upstairs for my sewing machine.
* start walking again - I did this for a while and it has dropped off over winter
* take more photos when out walking!!
* have at least 2 days eating healthy - no carp!
* start making pressies for Christmas earlier
Thats all for today I think - ha ha
